Barre is a fun, energetic workout that fuses techniques from Dance, Pilates, and Yoga. Barre uses small, isometric movements to gradually fatigue one muscle group at a time, focusing on hips, thighs, glutes, abs, and arms. These tiny movements not only work to tire out the muscles, resulting in lean muscle, but also reinforce the mind-body connection. Barre will increase muscle tone while elevating your heart rate & your mood!
Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise that aims to strengthen muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility. Pilates moves target the core but impact all areas of the body. Benefits include improved posture, better balance, reduced injury risk, increased strength, enhanced core stability, improved flexibility, mental clarity and stamina. We offer Pilates Mat & Reformer Classes.
*Please note a private training session is required prior to enrolling in a Group Reformer Class. This is for the safety of our participants.*
TRX, originally developed by a US Navy SEAL, is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete the exercises.
